Best NASM certified trainers - certified as personal trainers and group trainers
Not all individuals leading a class or teaching possess national recognition certifications, as many gyms refrain from hiring people with these certifications due to higher costs. Ensure that you are not being trained by someone who knows only the basics and resorts to simply shouting out compliments like 'good work' or 'great job' on a microphone. An excellent trainer will thoroughly explain each movement, delve into body mechanics, and emphasize the mind-to-muscle connection. At Forge Fitness, our trainers focus on being educators rather than entertainers."
"All Forge trainers are certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) as professional personal trainers and group trainers.
Ensure that the person training you possesses the necessary skills and holds a nationally recognized certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. It is crucial to avoid being trained by someone lacking certification in body mechanics, as this can lead to potential injuries.
A reputable facility will proudly display the certifications of its trainers. If not readily visible, don't hesitate to inquire about them; after all, it's your safety at stake. Keep in mind that not all certifications are equal, so verify that the trainers have earned a nationally recognized certification that is up-to-date. Certifications need to be renewed annually to keep pace with the evolving industry standards, including changes in body mechanics and movements and exercise science.

Landmine - versatile and safe - a must for training to improve your strength, balance and range of motion.
The landmine is a great tool for these times when supplementary training comes into play. Using a landmine reduces the presence of axial/direct loading on the joints, and it can change the position of movement and the range of motion by adjusting how the body and bar are positioned. Athletes can use the load from the landmine to find deeper end ranges of motion and explore different mobility properties that may appear more difficult with just their body weight.
Ab and Core Work Everyday At Forge
Abs + core are the structural strength of the body and these are the only few muscles that can be worked everyday and that's just what we do at Forge
Full body + cardiovascular training.
Full-Body Workout: Rowing engages multiple muscle groups across the body. It works the legs, back, arms, shoulders, and core. The pushing motion with the legs, pulling with the arms, and the involvement of the core provide a holistic workout.
Sled Work - Best lower body exercise
Sled work is one of the exercises for the lower body - Pushing or pulling a sled requires the engagement of various leg muscles, including the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. This resistance training helps improve muscular endurance and strength, allowing individuals to perform better in other athletic activities and daily tasks.
Functional Movement: Gym sled work mimics functional movements like pushing or pulling objects in real-life scenarios. This type of exercise enhances overall functional fitness, making daily activities easier and reducing the risk of injury during physical tasks.
Cardiovascular Conditioning: Sled workouts often involve high-intensity intervals or longer-duration sessions, effectively boosting cardiovascular endurance. This combination of strength and cardiovascular training can lead to improved overall fitness levels.

Upper Back Development: Landmine rows
Upper Back Development: Landmine rows target the muscles of the upper back, helping to build strength and size in the lats, traps, and rhomboids.
Core Engagement: The exercise requires core stabilization, helping to improve overall core strength.

A must for low body strength
Sled work is generally low-impact, making it a suitable option for individuals with joint issues or those who want to avoid high-impact activities. This can be particularly beneficial for women who may be more prone to certain joint problems.
Stability and Control
Stability and Control: Many jammer arms come with adjustable settings, allowing users to set the range of motion and resistance levels. This helps individuals control and stabilize their movements, which is crucial for building strength while minimizing the risk of injury.
We train you the right way from the start,
Our approach is built on a foundation of technique and form. We understand that the key to unlocking your strength lies in mastering the basics. That's why, at Forge Fitness, we prioritize teaching you the right way from the very beginning. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our expert trainers are dedicated to ensuring that you not only lift with power but with precision.
A must for explosive strength training - keeps it very safe compared to explosive with a barbell.
Using Jammer Arms for training has a multitude of benefits you cannot get from other equipment . bands improve the strength curve of free weight exercises by increasing tension at the strongest position (ie. lockout strength, when the weight feels its lightest) and decreasing tension in the weakest position. We use in conjunction with bands it encourages you to use your fast twitch muscle fibers to blast through sticking points at lockout, so they help to increase your power and hypertrophy potential without the added stress of adding more plates.
