Why Forge Fitness OC RSM Split Train

Splitting training days into muscle groups allows your body/muscles sufficient time to recover between workouts. Recovery and rest periods are crucial for strength growth, as it is the rest periods that produce muscle growth, this does not occur in the gym. Split training also helps stop muscle exertion and body fatigue. If one engages in high-intensity full-body workouts every day, muscles will not be able to recover effectively, this can lead to injury.
Full-body workouts daily can lead to a plateau in strength and performance gains, and muscle exhaustion and fatigue are common. Split training is a more advanced approach than full-body workouts, as it involves a long-term, well-planned program that includes rest and recovery at the appropriate times.
